Vestfold Crematorium/KORO
Vestfold crematorium has a ceremonial room overlooking the garden. It is a great feature at this new crematorium. The solid-stone structure is placed here, at a low height, right outside the big window. It is made of the local stone, a kind of granite called Larvikitt, and the top is carved in a wave form with several holes through it. Built-in light shines downward from the wave
onto a base of the same material, and will create a hovering impression.

When the daylight is poor, the light will also reflect through the holes. In daylight the same holes will transfer sunlight to the base below. The installation will change according to the light conditions, weather and seasons, and be modest in its context.  Reversus1.html
